Everyone can help change the world, one step at a time. Whether it is one volunteer hour or one dollar, you can make a difference with our projects. No matter how much or how little you have to give, you can make a difference. Your generous support can empower thousands of poor children by giving them the tools they need to create a better life for themselves and their families.
As a volunteer, you can make a difference in their lives through your generosity and sacrifice. As a volunteer, you give and get, learn and teach and live and practise.
We invite volunteers to be part of the academy. You can share your knowledge, skills and gifts to support our programs. You can involve in our advocacy programs, fund-raising programs. We are looking for volunteers to be secretary, web designers, graphic designers and grant writers.
We invite volunteers to help our kids in schools. They can live with them and teach English, art, painting and games. Volunteers will have opportunity to visit different schools and learn from them.
St.Patrick's Academy welcomes volunteers with relevant qualifications and/or experience to assist in carrying out the mission of the institution. Minimum duration for volunteer service is four weeks and maximum is one year, although that may be extended in certain cases. We hope that volunteers continue to assist St.Pat even after their service at the institution, and help us raise funds and find sponsors of our children.
Applications for volunteer positions may be sent by email/mail to the address below. You must include your bio, the names of two references and your association with them (the references should send their letters of recommendation separately), and your cover letter describing:
- volunteer position sought
- reason/motivation for volunteering
- special areas of interest/expertise that you can cover – e.g., arts, music, literature, sports, career counseling, teacher training, others (be specific)
- preferred start and end dates for volunteering
- any alternate period possible if preferred period cannot be accommodated
